Security Deposit

We ask for a security deposit of 1,500 (Galilean Moons/Calypso) or 500 euro (Circe/Penelope) a week before check-in (must be in our bank before arrival). Assuming there is no damage, this amount will be returned within a week after departure.

  • 12-20 guests: 260/500 euro (MINIVAN+MINIBUS)
  • 21-50 guests: 380/760 euro [BUS]

CAR RENTAL: You do not need a car while at the villa, as everything (supermarkets, bakery, patisserie, supermarket, tavernas, beach, bars, pharmacy, doctor’s office, etc) is walking distance from the Villas. We are happy to coordinate shuttle service from the airport.

  • If you would prefer a rental car, we recommend a local car rental company that has a base 3 minutes’ drive from the villas.

BEACH ACCESS: The front of the villa is rocky, but you can swim and snorkel using a swim ladder. You are also welcome to use the umbrellas and lounges on the seafront area in front of the villas.The closest public beach is a pebble beach with a cozy bar and restaurants ~a 4-minute walk from the villas. The closest long sand beach is 2 km away in the touristy village of Makry Gialos. There are also many more beautiful beaches within 1-10 km from the villas; either well-developed or quiet; either pebbly or sandy… every taste can be satisfied.

House Rules to follow

  • Please do not throw anything (including toilet paper) in the toilet. It is incompatible with Greek plumping
  • Quiet hours: Midnight to 8 am
  • Please turn off AC when doors/windows are open. Also, please turn off BOTH AC and lights when you are out of the house. Electricity in Crete is in short supply – help us preserve the environment
  • Please keep door/window screens always closed. We are in the countryside and small animals (e.g., mosquitoes, rodents) can get into the house
  • CHECKOUT instructions: Please turn off all AC units and lights, and make sure all remote controls are where you found them. Please put all bathroom/kitchen trash into black container located outside the villa. Recycle materials go into the blue container. In addition, do NOT leave dirty dishes in the sink. Place dishes, glasses and used pots in dishwasher and start it before leaving the villa.

Arriving to the Villa: our manager, Romeo, will be in contact to coordinate your arrival. Romeo will meet you at the Villa to guide you. Private parking is available by the main road.

Amenities and General Info: We clean the outdoors daily and, as a part of this, empty the wooden trash box by the front gate (please put your trash there). We clean inside the villa flexibly according to your needs. Everything you may need, such as supermarkets, bakery, patisserie, pharmacy, doctor, are walking distance from the villa.

Additional information about the villas:

  • There is water treatment at the villa – it is potable; no need to buy bottled water
  • Please feel free to enjoy our small garden – use what you want for salads and cooking
  • You are welcome to use the BBQs – we provide charcoal/gas and starter
  • We offer free use of bicycles – ask Romeo
  • We offer game boards – ask Romeo
  • To turn on the oven: set the timer first, then turn the other keys
  • Lockbox use: First push the red button found inside, on the door, this zeroes the lock. Then add your personal code, followed by * or #, and turn the lock key. To open, just add the code followed by * or #
  • Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property
  • Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges
  • Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges; special requests cannot be guaranteed
  • Onsite parties or group events are allowed only in Galilean Moons Villa
  • Safety features at this property include a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. Properties are equipped with smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
